Galactic Bids Goodbye to Watcher.app, the Handy ETH Price and Gas Monitor

Galactic is shutting down Watcher.app, a menu-bar application that monitored Ethereum wallets, USD-ETH prices, and gas prices, as of June 30, 2023. The app provided users with valuable alerts on the optimal time to transact.

Our eyes are now closed

Unfortunately, Galactic is closing, and Watcher.app is no longer supported. The Watcher was a menu-bar based app that kept an eye on ETH wallets, USD-ETH prices, and gas prices. It would then alert the user whenever it was time to make a move. We had a lot of fun making it and designing fun interfaces for it.

Galactic is closing

Unfortunately, General Galactic Corporation is shutting down. We had a wonderful time and built terrific things.

We want to give a massive shout to our fantastic users, the brilliant Galactic team, and our unwaveringly supportive investors. While it’s a bummer that Galactic won’t be around, we’re proud of what we have created during our time together.
