The Final Farewell: Skyteller’s Epic Journey Comes to an End

Well, here we are. It’s a bittersweet moment, but we’ve got some news to share. After a lot of soul-searching, endless coffee, and more than a few sleepless nights, we’ve decided to close the chapter on Skyteller, effective June 30th.

This decision wasn’t easy, and it’s definitely giving us all the feels. But with the regulatory landscape in the U.S. getting murkier and the future of crypto looking like a question mark, it’s unfortunately the right call. We’ve always been about playing by the rules, and right now, it’s getting tough to even figure out what those rules are.

Skyteller started as a dream to turn crypto into cash in just one click, and to make the whole crypto world more accessible and user-friendly​. We built a bridge to your bank, allowing you to off-ramp straight from your wallet or your personal Skyteller off-ramp contract​​. We were all about making digital dollars real in a simple, single transaction​, and helping you tailor your cash flow, save for taxes, aggregate royalties, and more​. We had so many plans for the future, like empowering web3 workers and crypto earners with custom ENS subdomains​​.

We were especially proud to support the crypto workers. The people who made the DAOs magical, the NFT projects work, and the people who powered the community we were so excited about.

But hey, all good things must come to an end, right? And while we’re definitely feeling the blues, we also know that sometimes, you have to close one door to open another.

Seriously, we couldn’t have done any of this without you. Your trust, your support, and your passion for Skyteller have been the fuel that’s kept us going. We’re so thankful to have been a part of your crypto journey.

Galactic is closing

Unfortunately, General Galactic Corporation is shutting down. We had a wonderful time and built terrific things.

We want to give a massive shout to our fantastic users, the brilliant Galactic team, and our unwaveringly supportive investors. While it’s a bummer that Galactic won’t be around, we’re proud of what we have created during our time together.
